I have never used these for making cookies. I use them to cut shapes out of food for my preschool son's lunchbox. He loves it! Today, he's taking kabobs that were made out of alternating pieces of chicken breast and cheddar cheese cut into the animal shapes. I also cut animals out of cantaloupe and put it on a kabob with blueberries and grapes. To give you an idea of their size, a piece of cheese cut from one of these cutters will fit well on a Wheat Thin.

Extremely annoyed to find after opening the package (since the wrapper was covering the cutters) that I've received two giraffes and no elephant. I'm making cookies for my son's birthday and elephants are his favorite. I'm am quite disappointed in this product.

I was commissioned to make a cake for a Noah's Ark-themed baby shower. In looking around at options and reading reviews, I decided this set would be a good choice to make little animals out of rolled fondant. The review here that says they are the size of a Wheat Thin was extremely helpful in convincing me that this was a good choice, and she is spot-on. The cookie cutters were easy to use, easy to clean, and will work perfectly for me. Two thumbs up!
