I was looking for mini cookie cutters in different shapes for the holidays to use on fondant for my cupcakes and use on cookies and also to use for my son's lunches on his sandwhiches. I have a ginger cookie recipe that I have been doing for years, but they require icing decorating. Because this was taking too long (and the icing recipe is highly sensitive to weather) I was looking for cookie cutters where I would not have to decorate them with icing if I didn't want to.These work very well and are very easy to use. Simply press down to cut the outer perimeter and then gently push the button to imprint the cookies. If you push too hard, it will cut through but it was not hard to get the hang of it. These worked really well with the dough I was using (based on flour, egg yolks, butter, sugar and spices). The construction of the pieces seems pretty durable. The only thing I wish is that they were a little bigger. They are about 1.5 inches long each.
