The cookie cutters were used to cut sandwiches for my Grandson's bday. They worked great big enough but not too big. The children and parents enjoyed the different shapes.

Some of these cookie cutters are pretty hard to find on their own so this set of tin shapes is a good start for creating a pirate themed cookie party. The 'coin' is simply a circle that can be used for so much more - a biscuit, a ball, etc. The skull & cross bones can be used by itself or place the cutout on top of a rectangle for a jolly roger flag.Like all tin type cookie cutters, be careful with handling them and wash by hand to help maintain their original shape.

If you are just going to use these for sugar cookies they are probably fine. I used them on rice krispies and it was a little tough to get them all the way through. They aren't great quality but will get the job done if your just making cookies. You WILL need to plan on decorating them well though because only the ship and possibly the jolly roger are good enough shaped to tell what they are without the decorating. Also-lame but they have a circle one for a compass-they could have put another design inside instead.
