When I generated this review, I was asked to create star ratings in several categories for a toy. Unsure what's up with that. This is a cookie cutter, but perhaps it is also marketed for cutting play clay.As a cookie cutter, I give it five stars for its adaptability and simple, convenient sturdiness. It is also extremely inexpensive, and will produce a cookie design that will bake evenly (no overly thin parts which will burn before the rest of the cookie is done).I bought this because it occurred to me that it is adaptable toward making a variety of other shapes, with a little pinching, poking, cutting, stretching and folding. I thought of angels, people, top hats, three-leaf clovers, or little filled boxes (just folding up the arms, with the longer one folding over to make the top). I also though it would make nice consistent rectangles, you'd just have to cut off the short arms on the sides. I have some large cookie cutters, and I also thought this would be charming for use in cutting "windows" for stained-glass or linzer type cookies. Actually I am hoping now to find a matching shape in a larger size for that use.

This was used to make cookies for my daughter's Baptism. Worked great! I would recommend to anyone. It really helped when I would coat in flower before cutting the cookie dough.
