I'm a cake decorator and ordered these to put letters on kids' cakes. The size is right, but any letter with a 'hole' in it like B or P, well the cutter doesn't cut it out! It indents a line for you to use as a guide to cut it out with an exacto, but it doesn't work! My letters come out screwed up. :( I wanted something that would cut out a perfect letter and this just doesn't do it. Plus the letter R's 'leg' is strangely thin compared to the rest of the letter, so the R looks weird.

This set is a good size cutter for my fondant work, but some of the letters like B, D, Q etc.; where there is an "enclosed loop" require some extra work as it only indents an outline for you to cut it out (see attached pictures). And yes the letter R does look a tad bit odd with its rather 'malnourished' leg sticking out from its otherwise normal-sized body (also see attached picture).I bought this set anyways after reading the reviews, as I know I will have that bit of work trying to make the letters perfect, so if you want an easy cut with no hassle, this is not the set for you!

If you're using these for making actual cookies, they're probably okay. But, for cutting out fondant, they aren't great. The edge isn't sharp at all, and getting a clean cut is nearly impossible.
