Slams out doughnuts. Never sticks. Never clogs. No prying out the dough. A tribute to well-made, specialized tools. I've been using both this and the mini cutter for three years. If you love making homemade doughtnuts, this is your weapon of choice. Tough enough to survive both my gadget drawer and taken on camping trips. Imagine the thrill you can create in a campsite on a Saturday morning with fresh, sourdough doughnuts. I love 'em. You will too.

Just the perfect size! I was tired of making only rectangular-shaped longjohns that I could cut with knives and scrapers, and so happy to finally be able to make "real" doughnuts. This one is very durable, I expect to be handing it down to my children someday.

I just started making homemade donuts this year. They were so popular with my friends and family, that I decided to join my friend at the local farmer's markets to sell them. Very quickly, I was making up to 6 and 7 dozen at a time, at least twice a week! My neighbors began wanting them for birthdays and other special occasions. I was using a canning cap ring to cut out the donut and a plastic soda bottle cap to make the holes. While this worked decently, it was time-consuming, switching back and forth to make the holes. Also, I wanted to make sure that I was making my donuts in the most sanitary way possible. Finally, it dawned on me to look for a donut cutter (duh!), and Amazon.com was the only place I could find what I was looking for at a decent price. When the cutter arrived (very quickly, I might add), I couldn't wait to whip up a batch just to try out the cutter. I was cutting the donuts faster than I thought, and I wasn't having to fight the small bottle cap to get the hole out!!! I WAS THRILLED! It made the entire process so easy and cut production time literally in half! I LOVE THIS CUTTER! Plus, it's stainless steel and I don't have to worry about washing it and leaving it in the dish drainer to dry. AWESOME!!!
